Timeline to a Mexican Xmas vacation starting in December 2017 to roll in the New Year 2018!
7/16/17 – Saw an Elle Decor “subversive article” on Facebook about a new Betsey Johnson AirBNB offering in Zihuatanejo-Guerrero, Mexico called BetseyVilla. Being a Betsey fan for a long time and loving the scrumptious photos I clicked the link to AirBNB after reading the article.
“I wanted the house to just reek of Betsey.”
Other than a short fun day trip to a Senor Frog’s off a cruise ship (with my baby ❣️), I have not visited Mexico. I certainly knew nothing of Zihuatanejo much less being able to pronounce it. A quick google click tells me Zihuatanejo (Spanish pronunciation: [siwataˈnexo]), or Ixtapa-Zihuatanejo, is the fourth-largest city in the Mexican state of Guerrero. (Wikipedia is slayer of the befuddled💕.)
