PRL Archivial Updates

  • 8/18/17 – reinstalling a few MusicFilter love notes from the archives April 2003-August 2004, to
  • 8/12/17 – feeling low, low lowest. Deadzone. Yick Yuck. At least I’m awake. Going to do some musicfilter.com, punkrocklife.com, chronictea.com, chronictea.com/misschicky and especially some bolivercagass.com. Intend to make a flipbook, make some tacos, worry about little thugs breaking into houses, must lock up the ipads, laptops, etc.
  • 8/6/17 – I spent the entire day working on musicfilter.com. Found some backup photos on Jeff’s Cadillac Sony. Love his computer! Made a few tributes on Facebook, chronictea.com and on here. It was a inward day spent alone immersed in my BMF. Tonight I laid a “wreath” at punkrocklife.tumblr.com and I’m moving his interesting posts to this website. He had not posted on that tumblr since 2012. He had too many to keep up with and he let that one go, but 3.5 years was a pretty good run to go tumblr. Better technology came along to have fun with and there is never enough time. But I’m happy for all these archives and I just keep finding stuff. It’s amazing. Love and miss you baby.
  • 8/3/17 – I’m always forgetting to give an update, but I’ve been updating various area as the mood strikes. Working to remind me of us is my therapy and meditation. I love it when I’m into it. I had started to put a little pressure on myself to get MusicFilter to a better point for BMF’s birthday on August 5th. But I don’t want to push it. I just want to languish in it. There is enough intact there to keep any person busy if they want to get into it. If they want to know BMF better they will. I’ve been up at Perfectenschlag 2 for a few days and now back to the Punk Rock House. It’s been a cathartic few days. I miss him. Tonight I’ll putt the green, watch some BB19 and work on more Pussy! Pussy! Pussy! Alright goddammit.

  • 4/02/17  – Today is Cramps day.
  • 4/03/17 – What was going on in 2012? MusicFilter, Lotta Smooch tumblrs were waning. But Chronic Tea was prolific.
  • 4/12/18 – Over a year. A lot of stuff has happened baby. Johnny died last week. 🙁 But he’s back with you where he belongs. I’ve done a few things on these sites but not as much. So hard to believe a whole year has passed. MusicFilter got hacked and I had to spend over $400 to get it fixed, but it’s fixed. All these motherfucking hackers out there in the world messing up the fun. Not as fun. Never as fun. Never will be as fun as it was with you. Now I’m just trying to fix PRL without spending another $400. Maybe I’ll just make all this into books. Something to hold. I wish to FUCKING GOD I could hold you baby. I miss you so much. Argh.

  • 1/15/19 @ 1:57 AM – been some time. Lots happened. Johnny died. 😢 I miss BMF. It’s so depressing. Ugh. Ok Tumblr decided to sanitize itself and reject pornographic type stuff so I want to import everything over to preserve the archives. Tumblrocylypse? MusicFilter was moved a while back. Now I’ll move WHTRR. Some posts have already been flagged.

  • 6/6/19 Just working on a lot of different things. Jumping around and updating what I see randomly. It’s a lot! The web archives have been great and really handy. I’m creating a timeline of the different parts of our time together. It’s my hobby now. I love it and I love thinking about him everyday and relishing the memories. Something fresh is the timeline love tale of BMF and Miss Chicky. It was our time sweet baby. I’m going to Alaska in a couple of weeks. Not sure what I’ll do there yet. See some whales and rain probably.
  • 6/7/19 I’m obsessing. It’s ok. I’m working toward the BMF Encyclopedia Set. I need to work on it. But I find our random somethings and want to surround it and pet it and place it where it belongs. Yesterday I was trying to remember all the tools that Twitter offered when if first got started. Twitter was founded 3/21/06 and launched on 7/15/06.  We had been blogging and website making since 2000.  All the time things would be changing and improving. It’s truly been amazing. It’s really easy to live now unless you get pancreatic cancer. Then no amount of money is going to save you. Bitter much? 🙂 I figured out that musicfilter.net holds some gold in it’s guts but it’s really just a storage. I’ll probably close it down some day but it’s the original design of MusicFilter and I could not seem to duplicate it. This is where BMF placed what he could rescue from MusicFilter, but it’s just a skeleton.  I’ve done a lot of restoration on MusicFilter and I like it’s redesign. I’m sure BMF would love it but there’s always more to do. I hope it takes forever. Yesterday I added a updated version of his WHTRR summary page to Punk Rock Life. This is still the HTML page he made but I had to convert some of the flash files he made to MP3 and html5 files so mobile can pick them up. But no matter what under any circumstance will any update be as great as his original HTML pages. WHTRR by BMF. To really enjoy this page you have to turn down the TV and click on the little yellow arrow at the top and listen to The Unsatisfied all the way through while reading his sweet red words and then you will see the Lizard King and hear the soft sounds of Pine Lake, Ga. This is a BMF experience and it’s seriously relaxing. Then go back and click on all his links. #57bmf4ever
    So tonight the book Communion is leading me in a direction. I was reminded this book came with BMF from Kansas. It was very important to him at that time and he talked a lot about his belief it. It might have been all BS but I don’t think so. I still have the book somewhere. I saw it when I packed up. I’ll put it his library. But he listed books on MF and now the links are busted and I’ll go see if I can find them and fix it.
  • 6/8/19 @ 1:14AM – found the books but restored the vinyl so far.
  • 8/15/20 @ 12:51 PM – a long time. Lots has happened and maybe I’ll talk about it later but for the past couple days I’ve been more interested in updating BMF and MC world. Websites are not as easy to maintain as they used to be but they all seem to be hanging in there. I miss BMF all the time but the pain is somewhat less. Funny thing is I don’t want it to feel less. I don’t want to hurt but I want to remember and all of these creations help that process. So yesterday and today I spent a good amount of time with Hostgator trying to get things cleaned up and changing passwords and all those things. Today I want to try and focus on MusicFilter and the timeline love tale of  BMF and Miss Chicky. I wanted to update the Coke Bandits last night and couldn’t get into the cpanels but that’s all cleared up now. I received a call from Hostgator last week that some fool had struck malware on Taxirisk, but I cleaned it out and came across the little wordpress site BMF made for his 2010 birthday. I know it was just another one of his short web adventures but every little thing he did is important to me so I fixed it up and I love it. Just a chapter in the story leading to other chapters. I updated links @ bmfandmisschicky.
  • @ 2:27 PM – looking at the bmf archive – i’m on a level 12 and it’s a lot to absorb – when you stop working on it daily you forget what you already archived. It’s going to take me a while but I’m happy with it.

  • 9/13/20 – just restored a couple tumblr post from Hi, I’m Johnny Rotten. Love love love love love love love. I’m level 19.5.
  • 5/27/21 – not sure I always remember to update here but that’s ok. Lately I’ve been working to get the motherfucking malware off all the websites and finally had to get and pay for some professionals to help me. It seems pretty clear and I know it’s just some people’s hobby to fuck with other people’s stuff but it used to be more fun. The world is a fucking mess right now.
